Snickerdoodles
This recipe worked for a while…stopped working in Europe for me. See the “take-2” recipe.

- 1 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 3/4 cups flour
- 2 tsp cream of tartar
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
Cinn/Sugar topping
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tsp sugar
Instructions
- Blend butter, sugar + eggs together.
- Sift together flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, + salt.
- Add to creamed mixture.
- Roll into walnut sized balls
- Roll balls in cinn-sugar mixture.
- Bake @ 400° F / 204° C, 8-10 minutes on ungreased cookie sheet. Cool on racks.
